Employer
Summit
, taking place on June 20 in Washington DC, is a
collaborative learning opportunity for workforce leaders,
will benefit employers, operational excellence
professionals, working women, veterans and returning service
members, young careerists, mature workers, individuals with
disabilities, LGBT employees, and a
ll
interested in diverse workforces.
In
conjunction with the
Summit
, BPW Foundation will release the first issue of Successful
Workplaces Digest an easy to use new publication
showcasing inventive ideas, effective programs and applied
research that can easily be implemented by other employers
and employees. Some
of the Digest
contributors include: AARP,
Accenture, Ernst & Young, The New York Times Company,
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Crowell &
Morning LLP, Kansas City Power and Light, U.S. Department of
Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy, Sprint,
Weyerhaeuser, and Verizon.
