  •   Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund - national nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect and promote the civil rights of all Latinos living in the United States.
     

  •   National Alliance for Hispanic Health - organization focusing on the health, mental health, and human services needs of the diverse Hispanic communities, and connecting communities and creating change to improve the health and well being of Hispanics in the United States.
     

  •   National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) - dedicated to the recognition and professional advancement of Hispanics in the news industry. Established in April 1984, NAHJ created a national voice and unified vision for all Hispanic journalists.
     

  •   National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) - promotes the participation of Latinos in the American Political Process and the integration of Latino immigrants into the American society, and provides assistance and training to the nation's Latino elected and appointed officials.
     

  •   National Council of La Raza (NCLR) - a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan, tax-exempt organization established in 1968 to reduce poverty and discrimination, and improve life opportunities for Hispanic Americans.
     

  •   National Hispanic Corporate Council (NHCC) - a non-profit organization seeking to provide a clearinghouse of Hispanic marketing information, expertise and counsel for companies.
     

  •   National Hispanic Council on Aging (NHCoA) - dedicated to improving the quality of life for Latino elderly, families, and communities through advocacy, capacity and institution building, development of educational materials, technical assistance, policy analysis and research.
